Research Handouts
Library Investigations: This handout has students use Internet databases to complete some preliminary research on their topics. These databases are all available on the Napa Library website.
Notetaking: A handout using the double-entry method of research notes. These notes help get students to think about and ask questions of their research.
Research Book Talk: A handout with an evaluation rubric for students to give a short speech on their main research book. A one-minute speech evaluation is also included for a quick check on student progress.
Quotes/Paraphrase: An attempt at getting students to understand the difference between plagiarism and quoting sources. Has an activity where students attempt to cite sources properly.
