Students must have a grade of a C or higher for college admissions. Students who need to remediate a “D” grade to meet the college entrance requirements should contact their VHS Counselor for information and instructions.

TESTING INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS GOING DIRECTLY TO A FOUR YEAR UNIVERSITY:
The SAT is the most widely used college admission test. This site give you more than just testing information. You can take a practice test, do the question of the day, so the SAT skills Insight and do subject tests. To register, go to www.collegeboard.org
The ACT is another test site for college admission. Check out their website to see if the colleges that you are considering require or recommend the ACT writing test. To register go to www.act.org
Remember seniors, you need to have all of your testing done before December of your senior year. Some universities have an earlier deadline than that.
